
Family Immunisation and Travel Specialists (FITS) is a family-oriented travel and immunisation specialist clinic.
The clinic brings together highly experienced children/family doctors and nursing professionals to enable the provision of expert travel medicine and all aspects of immunisation care to families and children in Victoria.
FITS clinic has two sites across metropolitan Melbourne located at Cabrini Health Malvern, Victoria and Narre Warren, Victoria. It also has satellite clinics in rural Victoria.
This ranges from travel advice and immunisation, to immunisation under sedation and immunisation adverse event reviews.
As a private clinic, FITS is active in research and clinical education within the private health sector. As part of these activities, patients may be asked to voluntarily participate in medical research and/or have their consult with senior paediatric trainee doctors.


A/Prof Daryl Cheng is a general paediatrician with a special interest in travel and immunisation medicine – his practice is to empower and work together with a multi-disciplinary team alongside families and children to be the driver in achieving their wellbeing.
A/Prof Cheng currently works as a consultant paediatrician and clinical informatician at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) and is head of paediatrics at Cabrini Health. He has research and education appointments at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) and the Department of Paediatrics, University of Melbourne.
Daryl is a co-founder of Family & Immunisation Travel Specialists (FITS).


Professor Jim Buttery is a paediatric infectious diseases physician and vaccinologist. He is the inaugural Professor of Child Health Informatics at the University of Melbourne, and is also the Head of Health Informatics, Epidemiology and Signal detection at SAEFVIC and Chief Clinical Research Information Officer & Infectious Diseases Physician at The Royal Children’s Hospital. Jim is a co-founder of Family & Immunisation Travel Specialists (FITS).


Dr Linny Phuong is a paediatric infectious diseases physician and researcher. Linny is an empathic and collaborative clinician who strives to provide optimal care for her patients.


Dr Dima El-Sukkari is a paediatric doctor and researcher with a special interest in general paediatric and acute care medicine. Dima is passionate about improving health care and is committed to providing the highest quality, compassionate, and effective paediatric care for her patients and their families.


Dr Priya Shenton is a general paediatrician with a broad range of experience in general and acute paediatrics, immunisation, and vaccine safety, as well as significant experience in mental health care. She has a passion for evidence-based medicine as well as applying holistic, family centred approaches to paediatric health care.


Julia completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and trained as a Paediatrician through the Royal Children’s Hospital network. She is a general paediatrician with experience caring for infants, children and adolescents with a range of medical issues. Julia also has a special interest in paediatric neurology, transition to adult care, immunisation medicine and medical education. Outside of Cabrini she works at Monash Health, Grampians Health and the University of Melbourne. Outside of work, she enjoys running and hiking.
FITS Clinicians are a network of independent specialist practitioners working in a supportive and collaborative practice.
